Skipping the twilight

BRIDGEWATER Bowls Club’s popular summer twilight bowls will not be held this season.

The club has made the call after continued uncertainty with the impact of COVID and restrictions.

Officials also said they wanted to give volunteers a year’s break before resumimg the event that last January was named Loddon Shire’s event of the year.

Meanwhile, the club has also started investigations into options to install lighting on its greens.
