Six-goal terms do trick

Updated: Oct 20, 2021

TWO six-goal quarters set up a commanding win by Wedderburn Redbacks over St Arnaud.

The North Central league match also saw Ben DeAraugo in his second game back with the Redbacks kick eight goals in a best-on-ground performance.

The Redbacks’ coaching team will also be impressed with accuracy in front of goal in a performance that had seven players find the sticks.

Back home at Donaldson Park this Saturday against Wycheproof Narraport, the Redbacks should again win.

Meanwhile, Boort could not match Birchip Watchem after quarter time and the Pies were held to just one behind in the final term.

This coming round the Pies are home to Charlton, above them on the ladder by just 0.08 per cent.

It’s a chance at redemption for the Pies who have lost spark since going down to Wedderburn in the Loddon Derby a few weeks back.
