Scar tree film hopes

BOORT’S Paul Haw remains hopeful the acclaimed Lake of Scars documentary film will have a Loddon premiere screening.

The documentary, directed and produced by Bill Code, had its world premiere at a Sydney film festival and a screening at Eaglehawk’s Star Cinema was booked out, prompting two further showings this month.

And the documentary will also have screeningss in Swan Hill and Charlton.

The Lake of Scars centres on the passion of Mr Haw in creating a Keeping Place for hundreds of artefacts he has collected and stored in his shed, and his close work with the Dja Dja Wurrung peop
