Refugee's exhibition talk

SIERRA Leone war refugee Isaiah Lahai visited the Shrine of Remembrance touring exhibition Changed Forever: Legacies of Conflict in Pyramid Hill.

Isaiah talked on Sunday about his tale of survival fleeing his homeland eventually making his way to Melbourne.

The talk is one of three final special events during the exhibition in Pyramid Hill Memorial Hall.

Isaiah’s story will touch on love, compassion, and generosity of spirit in multiple countries and refugee camps after he fled Sierra Leone in 1991.

Royal Flying Doctor Service mental health clinician David Turnbull and James Farquharson will be at a men’s breakfast as part of the exhibition on Thursday.
