Quick work by brigades

BOORT and Yando brigades quickly brought a stubble fire under control this afternoon.

The fire was reported soon after 1.30pm, about 6km from Boort on the Boort-Charlton Road.

Smoke could be seen from town but the fire was extinguished within half an hour.
