New library takes shape

NEW buildings are taking shape at East Loddon P12 College where the $4.5 million upgrade of facilities continues. Work started earlier this year with demolition of a building and concrete walls are now being erected for the school’s new library, multipurpose and meeting rooms. As part of the State Government’s major refurbishment, fire and power services are also being upgraded. Principal Steven Leed said construction was on track for students to move into the new building at the start of the 2022 school year. He said the external structure was due for completion this week followed by a start on the internal fit-out. The building will also include a canteen.
