Make care free for all
PRACTICAL and targeted measures for remote and regional towns were needed from the new Federal Government to meet its promise of “child care free for all”, said Mallee MP Anne Webster.
Dr Webster told the Loddon Herald that child care was a priority when advocating for communities in Mallee.
Asked if she would advocate that the Federal Government addresses the child care desert in the Loddon and support Wedderburn College’s proposal for child care co-location on school property, Dr Webster said:
“I have met with many interest groups in Loddon and the wider electorate advocating for better childcare services, these towns include but are certainly not limited to Boort, Pyramid Hill and Wedderburn.”
