Kane's region title

ANDREW Kane has won his fourth consecutive Kara Kara Golf Association title.

Kane took out honours when the 2021 event was finally staged at Wedderburn after postponements last year by COVID restrictions.

Seven of the 12 clubs were represented and the 18-hole event went off without a hitch.

With a par round off 69 off the stick, Andrew Kane was the clear victor.

But it was the hotly contested battle for runner-up that caused the most excitement. A three-way tie on 80 between Donald’s Luke Kelly, St Arnaud’s Craig Burn, and Robbie Day from Korong Vale, meant a countback was required to decide the official second placegetter.
