Junior footy shakeup
AFL Central Victoria will review the structure of under 18 football competitions in the region.
General manager Craig Armstead briefed Loddon Valley league club presidents on Monday night before Tuesday’s official announcement.
Three options will be put to clubs in the Loddon Valley, Heathcote and Bendigo leagues.
.One to is make no change, keeping the Loddon Valley under competition that this year has four teams.
Option B under the AFL proposal retains the Bendigo under 18 competition with Loddon Valley and Heathcote clubs forming a new Central Victorian Football League junior league.
