Hospital appoints acting CEO

GREG Pullen has been apppointed interim chief executive officer at Inglewood and Districts Health Service.

He took up the role last week and will oversee the local service for three months.

Greg is a former CEO of Kyabram Health, West Gippsland Health Service in Warragul, Goulburn Valley Health and Northern Health in metropolitan Melbourne.

In 2013, he left the public sector to manage aged care provider Catholic Homes and oversaw its merger with Villa Maria to form Villa Maria Catholic Homes, one of the largest NFP aged care providers in Victoria before retiring in 2017.

He has recently completed nine years as a director of the Victorian Institute of Forensicare Mental Health and is currently a director and chairs the audit and risk committee and PCG of Central Highlands Rural Health.

The interim appointment was made following the resignation of Tracey Wilson who had been IDHS chief executive officer for five years.

Tracey is currently undertaking a three-month project at Mildura Base Public Hospital.
