Encephalitis site confirmed

A non-commercial site has been confirmed as a Japanese Encephalitis Virus location in the Loddon.

Shire Mayor Dan Straub confirmed notification had been received on Tuesday.

The Health Department has this morning confirmed Lodfon Shre this has commenced mosquito spraying "around some public facilities in Bridgewater" and that these activities were "on behalf of the Department of Health to support community health protection through prevention".
