THE winner of Saturday’s Inglewood-Bears Lagoon Serpentine match will have momentum to lock in a top five spot in the second half of the Loddon Valley league season.
Big-improving Blues are sitting fifth and a game clear of the Bears going into this match.
But with the determination to never give up that was on display against powerhouse Marong last Saturday, Serpentine will rates itself a chance to snag the points against the 2022 glamour side.
While Inglewood has had a couple of tough encounters, and an unlucky loss to Mitiamo, they are not to be underestimated.
This should be a ripper clash and the Blues should be home by a goal or two.
On paper the other games look pretty straight forward although Bridgewater would be wise to be wary of Maiden Gully, another side perhaps unlucky to have been defeated by Mitiamo.
