Date set for field day

LODDON Valley Stud Merino Breeders’ Association is confident its annual field days this month will be a success.

New association president Kevin Hynam said the merino sheep industry had coped well with the challenges of COVID.

And he says the current level of restrictions make it possible to hold the annual fiueld day at Serpentine Recreation Reserve on February 25.

Mr Hynam said many studs had achieved great returns for lambs, surplus sheep and wool “with excellent prices for fine micron wool”.
