College's $13m building cash

TODAY'S State Budget has given $12.9 million for upgrading buildings and facilities at Wedderburn College.

The school was told it was one of 29 schools to receive major building upgrades in a visit by Western Victorian Region MP Jaala Pulford just hours before the Budget was handed down in Parliament.

The Budget news was welcomed by school council president Carolyn Stephenson and principal Danny Forrest.

They are wanted to project to start in July when the money becomes available.
