Big game weekend
Updated: Oct 20, 2021
SATURDAY’S trip to Calivil will have special significance for two Loddon Valley league stalwarts.
Inglewood netballer Kristy Noonan will take the court for her 450th game while Mal McLean will be on the field in the Blues’ reserves for his 300th game with the club.
Mal, the 2013 John Forbes medallist for the league reserves competition, has come out of retirement this season to help Inglewood and also notch up the milestone. He first played junior football with Ingle-wood in 1994 and has kept coming back for the “friendship, mates and beers”.
