Banks readies for 15th

PREPARATIONS have started for the 15th anniversary in July of Inglewood and Districts Community Bank.

A community party will be one of the events marking the formation of the local community bank.

Meanwhile, work has started on fencing at the old Bridgewater pioneer cemetery after a bank grant to Bridgewater Cemetery Trust. The historic cemetery was neglected for many years but the trust is working to improve the amenity and aesthetics of the site.

And the bank has also approved a $35,000 grant to improve the bathroom facilities at the Rheola Pioneers’ Memorial Park Reserve.
