Back on ground

NORTH Central football resumes on Saturday with Loddon clubs facing massive challenges to collect the four points.

Wedderburn heads to Donald for its clash against the only undefeated side in the competition after five rounds.

The Redbacks will certainly be without key forward Ben De-Araugo but having dropped only one game so far, cannot be discounted.

And despite depth issues, coach Sam Barnes has a team capable of delivering if everything clicks.

Donald has set the pace and will be a tough cookie to crack.

Boort is at home to Sea Lake Nandaly. The Tigers uncharacterically lowered their colours to Birchip Watchem in the opening round but have been back at their dominant best since.

While the Pies have shown glimpses of hope, the youthful combination - Andy Hawker is blooding a few of the youngsters - may be challenged a bit too much by the Tigers on Saturday.
