Advocate to speak at WOFG

GUEST speakers at next month's Women on Farms Gathering in Inglewood are being announced over coming weeks.

Among speakers will be Loddon's Elizabeth Borg.

Elizabeth's career spans over 30 years as a professional administrator in the education and not-for-profit sectors, and is currently the Learning and Development Officer at Loddon Shire Council.

On ANZAC day 1999 Elizabeth's younger son David was born with his 3 middle fingers missing from his right hand.

As a result of this, in October 2000, Elizabeth started ''The Aussie Hands Foundation' a not-for-profit organisation to (i) support children and adults who have been born with a hand difference or have an acquired hand injury; (ii) provide opportunities for networking and exchange of information; and (iii) support research initiatives focussing on hand differences. Since moving to the country, Elizabeth has joined the Kooyoora Women's Network and is excited about meeting more locals at the Women on Farms Gathering on Saturday 26 March 2022 in Inglewood.
