A strumming enterprise

JED Paton was a top salesman on Saturday, earning money so he can start guitar lessons.

The Inglewood youngster, 8, has just been given an electric guitar by his grandfather and wants to play it properly.

So with a little encouragement from his parents, Jed scoured the home for unwanted goods and set up shop in Brooke Street. Jed kept a tally of sales and was pretty confident he will soon be strumming out the tunes on his guitar after arriving at 6am to display the goods that ranged from books to crockery and other useful household items.

“I want to learn guitar and play songs,” Jed said.
